If you stick with the sport?

You may have just lost van Pugh privileges. Biggrin

Yes, very happy with the I76.

I have never tried the I84, lots of good reviews for it also.

But I believe that if the I76 carries my 200lb ( wet, drysuit and all) carcass around from 10 -25 mph wind without much effort it will be more than enough wing for you.

If you were going to be wave windfoiling this might change my opinion. But you need to talk to Britt at Northbeach if you are having trouble deciding.

That is great Slingshot is replacing your foil.... Now you can buy a nice carbon bent shaft paddle.

Nice paddle for sure. However, i actually have one looking identical to that (have bought at REI for around $450 over 10 yrs ago) and sold it to upgrade to the scooped carbon epic paddle when I upgraded my kayak - not that i race but this is more of an aggressive paddling style used by those who race. A little different stroke type and helps push harder for speed (or upwind in strong current). Good luck. I guess you are selling due to going to canoe route?

Epic makes awesome gear.

Yeah it's been collecting dust since I bought the canoe.

Wow, Slingshot will replace under warranty. Randy, I owe you lunch!

Glad that worked out for you. Makes me think Slingshot is a good company to buy from.

At least your foil didn't almost give you a haircut.

With so many incidents of foils coming off, I'm thinking I should sell my extras.....
