Good sailing at Van Pugh as well from 10:30 to 11:30AM. Then it dropped off & we de-rigged, only to see the wind pick back up before driving off. We didn't see your post about sailing at Van's until Gene arrived.
19.4 miles before coming in for coffee break. All the fly boys looked great again and Chris P was groovin' on his Mistral. Still breezy when I left at 3:30.
Warmer is good. More wind is even better.
Gee - you guys will be like almost half way to Panama City.......

You also could be almost half way to Panama city.
(WP also has flatter water )
I have other plans......

Anyone going to Lanier on Sun? If so, where? WP sounds nice but too much of a hike for me I think (never been there).
How about Sat? I am definitely in for Sun (probably Lanier), maybe for Sat. due to bike repair clinic that day.
If the forecast looks good for NE wind on Sunday AM, I'll head to Van Pugh.
Barrett
Van Pugh looks better for wind. A bit colder but closer and less chance for rain.
Either way will work for me.
If we stay on Lanier can we still go get some food afterwards?
(One of the benefits of going to WP)
Is it Vanns or Van Pugh?
653 am - reported wind E 13-21. 42F

A few of us at the party last night talked about going to Vanns, so I was planning in heading there around 9.
