I think this prove's Nitro's point that wing surfing makes even guys that are really good look stupid.

We didn't get here in windsurfing without a few bumps along the way, ourselves. However, I agree with you. That video isn't going to open my wallet. Glad he's having fun. Phil's video is tempting me to overdraw my bank account, however. Shok

Did you forget your sunscreen or UV protection? Windwing to the rescue! Also handy if the seagulls overhead have upset stomachs. Can you imagine getting worked in a wave with all that stuff leashed to you?

Wingfoil tutorial from Sroka, a kite/windfoil company in France. (They make a nice, accessible and inexpensive carbon windfoil I was looking at one time.)

https://srokacompany.com/en/2019/10/how-to-wing-foil/ choose the EN link in upper right to read it in anglais.

Wingsurfing now has its' own weekly magazine. It is in Italian, but my computer translates it to English pretty well.

Does that say Hot Wheels or Hot Wings? The Hot rider looks like he is about 10 years old.

Wings. Yes, the rider is young. I think that's about a 3m wing. They start them early in Kiwiland.

Seems to be using something called an "ensis wing" - can't find that on line anywhere......it seems now there are so many different wing brands out there you can't count them all.

Apparently, it means "many handles" in an obscure Swiss dialect spoken by a few high up in the Alpine meadows. Reminds me of a Tiga raceboard circa 1987

Comparison of some of the brands. This was originally in Japanese, but someone translated it.

Dang autoplay. By the time I went to copy the url, it had jumped to the next random video. Well, at least it was interesting.

Here's the vid I meant to show. BTW, AA is a big lad and he doesn't seem to be needing much wing.

AA is on a Takuma "Wing Ride". Seems like brands are popping up like mushrooms after a rain. That should put a bit of downward pressure on prices. Hopefully, the legit brands that have done some actual R&D instead of just cutting and sewing one and done will have some affordable wings this summer.

informal reviews of Takuma, FOne and Gong wings. Interesting that people are starting to suss out the differences in handling and construction.
