Sometimes you do get what you want. In this case a better forecast for Monday. If the forecast holds up, I plant to sail in the afternoon. Probably at Van Pugh. Please post if you can go.
Today came through. Went with little expectation but ended up scoring a great day. Good foiling and then great foiling at the end. Very little non-foil time surprisingly.
I'll let Langdon tell the story behind this one. His day turned out even better than mine!

Okay, I take it back. Yesterday's forecast led to false hope of wind. I'm not going today.

Breezy at the house. I'm going to give it a go. Yardwork at the lake if it's a dud.
A few good breezes ( not to be confused with actual wind ) here in Oakwood.
I am still planning on going

William is moving but it is William. Not enough for me
But I’ll be back tomorrow

William, Langdon, you are braver and more persistent/resilient than me for sure. Much wind power to you! It's mtn biking or rowing for me.
It's only a day away

I was backing into my customary psrking spot at VP when the van went "clank".
Inboard break shoe had exceeded its lifespan apparently some time ago and decided to slide out the back.
I was most fortunate for many things.
First of which was I broke down right next to Moredownhaul and Josh.
They were kind and took me to the nearest Advanced for new shoes.
Second I was on flat pavement in a safe location.
Third I had remembered to put my tools in the van...and found the jack
Fourth It was not dark, raining, snowing, hot or anything undesirable and most importantly I was surrounded by friends.
Thanks again Moredownhaul and Josh!
Maybe tomorrow I can try again to get to the lake.
