Re: The Great Charter Giveaway (and a Discount)

BTW- would a Kona One be eligible to participate in the Kona Fleet? A friend of mine has one so he might be interested. Don't think he has a kona sail though.

There is no off season.

As not the race director, I'd say the board qualifies but he'd need a proper Kona rig for "Kona Class" as the rigs are sized by body weight to keep things fair. He could probably get a rig from Cody if he wants to do that or just enter in the Limited 7.5 class. It's fun just to get out there and give it a go with what you have even if it's not at the front of the fleet. After all, 49,995 people enter the Peachtree Road Race every year knowing that they won't even see the probable winner two minutes after the start.

Of course, he can just enter the contest and win the use of a Kona. At the moment, the odds of winning are 100% Shok

Re: 41st Annual Fall Classic Notice of Race

I am planning on coming to the regatta. If the Workshop Fleet is like a beginners division and there are enough people to create it, i'll race in that. But otherwise I am glad to just come out to watch and learn!

Glad you can make it, Cameron!
If you want to, it might be fun to get on a race committee boat for a race or two. It's a front row seat to the proceedings. We could also hook you up with a mentor who could give some coaching on & off the water.
