Nose protector options

I know this topic was discussed before. But I couldn’t find it. We need a search functionality here.

Anyway, I just got new (new to me) 115l board, and I need a nose protector.

We got it. Icon on top right on home page and link under Navigation menu on the right side bar Biggrin

Search on site returns this: https://windsportatlanta.com/search/node/nose%20protector
Which links to this article and the comments: https://windsportatlanta.com/blogs/fun-and-games-carbon-fiber

NSI nose pads, Ion mast protector are favorites. I'd probably favor the nose pads, personally, as I like to be able to grab the mast on smaller boards. Surfbent is known to be hard on luff sleeves and not necessarily provide full protection. Don't do a Deviator -it just provides a fulcrum to rip out your mast box.

I'm using a ion mast pad on my JP for now. Disadvantage of these is that you have to buy one for SDM and one for RDM mast if you have both. Advantage is you can use it on all your boards.

I just ordered this one for the nose of the foil board.

$7.99 off shipping with coupon code SUMMER019 right now

I hope you enjoy the board. It's really a good size for here, you should be able to run 5.0 to 7.5 on it.

I got that one. Sunday it passed my first field test of the product. I didn't get the discount though. I take that back - they may have had a different promotion at the time.

Hey Randy
Did you sand you board under the pad or just clean it and stick the pad to the nonskid?
Mine didn't come with any instructions.

I just stuck mine on. No instructions for me either. Am a little worried about it too. But so far no problem
