Almost live update - Gene at Old Fed sees dark water and whitecaps. Rigging 6.0 and foil..........

Same at Van Pugh - whitecaps. Wind shadow at launch but wind in main channel. Looks pretty steady.

Looks like squalls coming through and then nothing upstream for a while.

Un--ing believable day at Van Pugh. Took a while for the wind to fill back in after the rain but ended up a wonderful day. Lit on 7.7 and foil with Barrett on 8,5 and splashy board. Chris P was superlighting it on a 6.8 while Mauricio had a 7.5 and short board. Ed and Dmitri showed up as I was leaving. Shred Dog took the early shift but had to leave after the rain. Wind started W and then swung a bit SW but not too bad. Was able to fly all the way back in except the last 50 yds.

Flew until 7:45 .

Gene and I some formation flights ( well almost, maybe 25 - 50 feet apart)
Gene had some really long flights.

Yep Gene and Langdon both looked really comfortable in the air. I wore myself out before the wind got good but still had a lot of fun. Our sails ranged from 6.2 to 5.7

I got a late start at LLSC. Started on 8 then 6.5. Sailed out to were I could see the OF boys then up to VP where the wind held its breath... but filled in enough to ride some big puffs back home. Shorter sesh on the 8 to wrap up at 7:45. Sunny, breezy, 75º and hardly a boat in sight– kinda weird (but good).
