Re: Shark foils

One more reason to love Lake Lanier despite all its faults.

  • It's deep.
  • Fresh water
  • No sand when you derig
  • No big bitey things (except geese)

This being said, our friends in Oz or FL haven't reported much and neither are lacking for sharks

Re: Shark foils

I think us foilers will cause more pain to marine life than they will to us. I have already knocked a knot on at least one poor ray over at Hatteras.

As for attracting sharks, doing something as fun as foiling is going to spark some curiosity

But... that's how we catch giant catfish. Biggrin

The therapy has also been recommended to treat blood clots and varicose veins. https://www.healthline.com/health/what-is-leech-therapy#how-it-works

It gets worse. Apparently, crocs in the Keys are learning to use pool floats to swim in Florida

A crocodile was spotted using a pool noodle to swim across a canal in Florida — and it's clearly having a better summer than you
