I did that 9 years ago. See at about 30 seconds in and again at about 2:30. Nice of me to make all that wake for Barrett to jump over. Amazing how camera's have improved in 9 years.

Alain rented to board from Ocean Air. Fred, his friend from France joined us in Nags Head and they needed extra gear, so he rented the Fanatic to compare with his existing RRD board. The Fanatic was faster, but didn't turn, or jibe as well. Alain concluded the board was optimized for speed, so if it's speed you want, it could be a good board.
Thanks to Randy for resurrecting his Windsurf 2010 video. It brings back good memories of sailing together. I did a couple chop hops in that video, but was surprised that Alain captured a bit of air time in his video where I jumped off the face of one wave and landed smoothly on the backside of another.

Nice smooth jump Barrett. I noticed Alain was on a Fanatic Jag, Did he say if he likes it?
