Bunch of sails to sell

I just brought back a bunch from SC. A number of sails from 4 to 6 area. More booms which I'll probably keep but means ones that I'm selling just got cheaper and maybe a mast or two. I'll try to get pics of stuff in the next day or so as I unload the van.

If you need a maui sails sdm mast in 490 and maybe 430, stay tuned (also good for other sails that require hard top mast like Gaastra, Severne, etc. Check relevant Unifiber chart for appropriate year if you sail bag doesn't say).

Stuff that's for sale:
Sailworks Retro 8.0 Gonzo. Foildood pounced like a hawk.
Retro 5.5 $125
Ezzy Freeride 5.5 (Cheetah predecessor) $150
Ezzy Infinity 6.0 (2 cam) $150
Ezzy Transformer 6.0 (optional 2 cam) $75
North Style 5.5 (freewave) $50
North Style 5.0 (freewave) $50
HotSails Maui FreeSlide 4.0 (freewave) $60
MauiSails 490 SDM 55% $75
North Viper 430 tapered SDM 75% $100 $75
A couple of chinook sdm extensions $25 $20
For booms and other stuff, look here https://windsportatlanta.com/content/75-sale-33019
includes NP 4.7
Not pictured
Ezzy Wave SE 6.3 $80 small patch on foot

Stuff that might be for sale closer to real market prices. Call me if interested
Ezzy Freeride 6.5
Ezzy Wave SE 4.7

I've got pics of just about everything. Most sails are in good shape. Some have some cosmetic issues (worn trim, etc) but the monofilm is in okay to very good shape. Nothing is sun toasted and no rips/tears. All these are decent, get on the water sails and good if you are starting to foil.

Re: Bunch of sails to sell

Hi WIlliam, my smallest sail is 5.3. Thinking I might want something in the 4's, though not urgent. I am thinking maybe the 4.0 or one of the 4.7's? How much are the 4.7s (NP and Ezzy wave)? I should ask -what mast length does the 4.0 take? I suppose 400 ok for the 4.7's but don't know about the 4.0? thanks

Re: Bunch of sails to sell

4.0 is a once every three to five years at OBX sail for most of us. Usually, those get unrolled for 30+ mph winds and 85 liter and smaller boards. (Smaller folks get them out sooner, of course.) Smallest I used this winter on a foil even was 4.7 ish.

I'll happily take your money but, realistically, it's not going to be something you'll use much in the next year or two unless you are putting a friend, especially smaller person, on your Kona. Optimal mast for 4.0 is 370. Even many 4.5s now take a 370. 5.3 to 4.7 is an okay gap. I wouldn't go 5.3 to 4.0, though. Also, I think Marek has a Goya 4.5 that's a bit newer. https://windsportatlanta.com/content/45m-goya-guru-41919 that might fit better.

I'm asking $75 for the NP. Not sure about the Ezzy - probably around $150-175 because it fits well into an existing Ezzy quiver for my son. But I may reconsider. Let me look at it tomorrow - I took it up to the lake yesterday to clear up some space here in Atlanta.

Re: Bunch of sails to sell

Ezzy probably built a little tougher, a bit more wind range. NP lighter, easier to handle, more bottom end. For your likely use in the next couple of years, not a whole lot. Not until you start banging around on 25mph+ days do the differences become apparent and may not matter that much then.

Sounds like the NP would be a good choice for me then. I am going out of town early tomorrow, back next Tues. We can catch up then?
