I suggest electric assist - works upwind, crosswind, downwind, up the hills, and quickly gets you to your sailing destination. I saw this nice electric bicycle pulling a folded-up windsurfer at Lake Garda. Parking in Europe is so limited, this bike & sail set up was a practical way to be first on the water.
Watched it a little while ago. That RobRock - he's my spirit animal. Don't know how well it will work but I admire his enthusiasm. I continue to learn stuff from his video.
This video reminds me of when Lu’s windsurfing trailer came loose from her hitch crossing over the elevated bridge from Manteo to Nags Head. Luckily Gene stopped & avoided disaster by reconnecting it with the chain.
One of the lovely things about having our own web site is how threads ramble off-topic and end up completely some place else.
Bicycle with sail -> Sesame Street -> Crack Cocaine -> e-Bike (Lake Garda) -> Rolling Coal (longhorn grille deco) -> Driving to the lake -> Kiting a bike on the snow (well, somewhat returning to the Orig. Topic.) -> Snow in Hawaii -> RobRock modifying boards -> webguy boringly staying on topic -> racing boat trailers and campers -> trailers careening down bridges -> Bonner Bridge in OBX -> self-congratulatory post by narcissistic webmaster
Let me count the ways...
Oh, and I'm offended by the crack reference. My substance of choice is a foil.
You guys are crackn me up.

This is how a Real Man™ rolls. I think I'll be on the water before an e-bike
Disclamer: This isn't my truck. The horns on my front grille decoration are bigger.

Next time, don't forget to load your gear before blasting off to the Lake.

Here's another option. I might try it next time Lake Lanier freezes over.

While you are waiting for that, consider a trip to Maui. They've got a fresh blanket (and also a wind gust to 191 mph)

This is by far the best website on the internet.
Thanks for all the time you put into it.

Speaking of Rob Rock. Maybe I should try this.

I'm confused. You want to glue bricks to the bottom of your board?

Yeah - looks easy enough, even I could do it.
