I got an ok on us using the beach on Saturday at LLSC. Ga Tech is hosting a thing but not at the beach.
The gate should be open, or will open when you pull all the way up to it.
It was good. Sometimes it was real good. 8-18. Langdon, Pat, Eric, Gene, Mauricio, FoilDood (our host)and me. Paul came by and then headed over to Old Fed to kite. Langdon, Chris and Debbie brought some snacks which were fantastic and allowed us to refuel.
Langdon, Chris and I shut the place down sailing almost to sunset. There was one last bit of wind that we grabbed. Debbie took video that we hope to post. Our thanks to Chris for arranging such and outstanding venue.
Chris Pyron and I took early shift today while Barrett, Ed and Gene took late.
Typical NW - blows hard for a while and then it doesn't. Did a pretty cool straight shot from the middle of the Holiday Harbor Bay all the way to Old Fed Campground coming off the wing only a couple of times in the gap above Aqualand. Looked like everyone was having fun. March did not go out like a lamb - temps barely reached 50.
I went to Galts around 2pm for 2nd day of foiling (tentatives). It was scary in gusts but I was able to practice take offs and crashes... Removing the back straps was a good idea (thanks Webguy). I can''t wait for the next session....

So is the beach open now or did you launch from the boat ramp? I wasn't sure if they had opened it. As of a few days ago, the water was still above full pool.

Beach was open. I launched from the the little beach on the left of the main. People with kids were oenjoying the playground. Attendant was at the entrance.
