I think I've already sailed more S/SE days this year than I have entire years. Strange. Anyhoo, here comes another one on Wed.
Vann's or Tidwell? You can sail off the backside of VP but it's very gusty and you end up having to dodge Bozo.
Edit: For once, a good direction for West Bank Park which, I presume, is still closed.

Where are you launching?
West Point looks better longer.

I have to be back to bowl by 6pm so my range is limited. If I had the time, I'd go, especially with DST
I'm up for sailing this afternoon at Vann's Tavern? Anyone else able to go?
Barrett
I think I"ll be there 1-4
Less than advertised and unfortunately rigged expecting it to build. Oh, well.
Be careful about the first step at Vann's Tavern, it's a long one until the water level goes down. Barrett and Chris P were there also. Chris looked good on the longboard and Barrett joined me in pumping like a monkey to get going in the puffs.
Nice thing about sailing at Vann's yesterday was stepping onto the board & sailing off. Chris & I took advantage of that big drop-off at water's edge for a quick launch. At the end of yesterday's session, Chris was able to sail his Mistral Superlight right onto the lawn with only the tail of his board remaining in the water.
