About everything you needed to know about today in the pic below. Weird day where I got nothing right. Barrett, Pat, Dave M, Gene, Alan, Ed were out. David W. came by to regal us with tales of Bonaire.
btw, found out that Dave M has forgotten more about composites than I'll ever pretend to know. If you have any questions, he knows his stuff. Fun fact, unlike boards where we worry primarily about heat causing delamination, in aviation, it's cold (moisture in the core icing and expanding).
Consider yourself lucky if it is a weird day when you get nothing right. It happens to me on a regular basis.
So was it foiling or flogging today?
I managed to get pretty wet just riding over at Buggy Park due to the standing water on large portions of the field. Did make slide jobs easier though.

Sailing then flogging. Didn't switch from fin to wing early enough and when I did, it was done for the day. If I'd brought the light air kit, I'd have been okay but it's in dry dock.

I was foiling on my regular fin and 9.0 sail when it was 17 G24 mph

Maybe I got out on the water at just the right time. It was a super fun day for me. I rigged big with an 8.5m - was on a plane most of the time, and able to handle the gusts. The day was warm & sunny. It was nice to hang out and chat before heading home.
Me too. Forecast does look good.

I had a miserable day, I haven’t been so tired and beat up in a long time. This foiling stuff might take a while. I don’t know who said it was easy.

Well I had fun. Foiled a little, flogged a lot but I did get to take Mr Wades new electric Trek for a spin and it was awesome!
