The forecast for tomorrow afternoon looks stellar with W 15-25 mph wind & 60F. I don't want to sail alone. Please post if you can sail at Van Pugh, or suggest another near-by site.
What he said. Looks like the rain is supposed to come through after lunch. May get lucky and the wind fills in behind later in the afternoon. Wednesday looks reasonable.
Edit: For Barrett (btw, Eric Carmen's previoius gig with the Raspberries was so much better. Look them up.)
The new forecast showing rain makes it look more iffy for this afternoon, but maybe Ed & I can still sail if the rain passes through before 4PM. Wed., earlier in the day, is also and option for me. Nice music post.
I got there late and things started off kinda hit and miss. Gene and Barrett were coming in
I rigged the 6.0m MS Loco. Wind was around 9-12 mph ( Guessing)
Gene came back out and flew some (also on a 6.0m)
Webguy looked like he made a foiling gybe (or a least close to it) over close to AquaLand.
I did get some good flights close to 5 pm.
A few of the flights were at least marginally controlled and had smooth landings.
Gene and Langdon are progressing nicely. Fun to see them in the air. Look forward to seeing more of these young pups flying. Who's next?
Came close to foiling out of a few but not quite. Can't seem to flip the sail and keep it in the air at the same time. Luckily, no chewing bubble gum is involved or I'd really hurt myself.
Gene, William & Langdon were all out foiling yesterday. I snapped the following photo of William foiling with Langdon nearby making progress learning the sport. As the only non-foiling windsurfer, I have to report I was on a plane 90% of the time with a 7.0m sail.
Windsday looks a little dryer. I may go then

If everything will go as planed, I'll be at VP after 4:00.

Rain storms. No WS for me today. Wed. looks promising for VP.

I am going to drive the windsurfing wagon to work tomorrow. If I get a chance to escape work I will head to VP
I will try to be there a little after 3 today ( Weds)

Amazing pic, Barrett. Hard to believe those mountains are 40 miles away.
