And if you make it to shore you are still not free of danger.

Of course here in North Georgia many of us have to survive the Alpharetta Autobahn just to get to and from the lake and I do not think that all the State Patrol cars that are parked alongside the road are there for our assistance.

But maybe we should all still plan a windsurf trip down there. It could be the booze but in all the photos and vids the folks windsurfing are smiling

Absolutely loved this video, but it understates the risks a bit. There are also venomous sea snakes in the water. Ashore, there are 6 species of poisonous trees, including the Gympie-Gympie that causes excruciating pain and reportedly takes months of recovery from exposure. Then there are the neurotoxic funnel spiders and...need I go on?

Not for me. Some in my family have wanted to go to Australia forever. Now I have good reasons (other than the long drive and language barrier) to rely upon. Thanks for the help.
