Sold F/S Starboard GT Alu Foil

Sold
Starboard GT Alu version. 75cm mast. VGC condition (just a couple of very light scratches). I used this while my Horue was in the shop. I'd keep it but it really gave me the appetite for a full on carbon version.

$699.

Description: https://www.bigwinds.com/starboard-windsurf-18-foil-gt-aluminum

Edit: Longer aluminum and carbon masts and 95 and 115 cm fuselages are compatible with this if you decide to upgrade. NB Windsurfing is about to add a lot of this to their web site. Oddly enough, you don't save much weight going with a carbon mast.

BTW - the windsurfoiling population of the Atlanta area seems to be doubling every 12 months. It went from 1 to 3 in about a year, now a year later to 6. If this keeps up, in about 20 years the entire population of Atlanta will be windsurfoiling!

There is no off season.

$700.

So William,

I'm confused. Is this foil one yours you are selling used or is it one that is (or was) on sale at Big Winds? If the later, apparently the sale has ended - it is now $1200.

There is no off season.

Mine. Used it a few times here and in Nags Head. For anyone wondering, I paid more than I'm asking but the rides I got were absolutely worth it. Sorry for the confusion, the link was for anyone who needed details. NB has them cheaper if you want new

Bumperoo. Still for sale. New ones now all priced at 1199 now that the winter sales are over. Save $500 for an accessible foil that has a lot of options as you improve including longer fuselages and different size wings. If you are sailing a lot in coastal waters, the 75cm mast is a bonus. The tuttle head flange makes it friendlier to non-foil specific boards. Yes 3 This is a good budget foil that is extensible as your skills grow.

Edit: The Freeride 1100 wing paradoxically doesn't foil much, if any, sooner. While it foils at a lower speed, it's also more draggy. Once this wing gets up, it has a surprising amount of coast/glide in light air. The Millennium (1000cm2) race wing does foil at a lower speed and provide more lift but the wing itself runs $600.
