I guess her tacking method is correct. I used it to the other day when it was 27 or so. (Sequence starts about 2:30) The rest are jibes (blown or not.) Kites take a beating on asphalt, so I got to remember they got to stay high.

Actually it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be., not easy. And using a 2-foot mast instead of a three foot mast and a board designed not to stick the nose helped. I was able to get a couple of two or three second rides, but it is fun to try something new.
