Re: Wed, 1/09?

Maybe... I have something that I need to take care of at home. Marek, Alan, Barrett, Chris P seem like possibles - who else?

I'm bringing cup cakes for all to celebrate my recent 70th Birthday. After lunch at Van Pugh.

That's great Barrett, Happy Birthday and keep on windsurfing!

I hope I'll be able to get out on the water at 70!

Marek, Gene, Alan, Chris P. & I took advantage of the strong cold front sailing at Van Pugh. Sail sizes ranged from 4.9 to 6.0m. I was a bit overpowered going out on my 6.0, but it was perfect as the wind dropped before calling it quits at 5PM. it was a fun way to celebrate reaching age 70!

Thanks to Gene for posting & getting us out on this fine day.

Barrett may be 70 but he sails like he is 20.
Happy Birthday again and again, you are an inspiration!

Very solid 5.5 for me. Wind was good, fairly steady and very little shift. A bit cold in the fingers even with neoprene gloves.
Had a good 1.5 hours.
Next week to warmer winds....Costa Rica!

Will do,

Sophie and I are leaving on Saturday.

Trey and Michal flying on Monday.

It's a very easy trip, easier than getting to Hatteras and when you get there its like a windsurfing white glove service. Gear is rigged for you and carried to the edge of water. Changing sails is the same, just return to the beach and tell the staff what you want rigged up.
