I don't think the wind will turn in time for me today. Looks like a fun day in AL SW 14-24 with temps in the 60s. I'll be at VP - hell or high water. I guess high water it is, though. Lake is up to 1074.47. We hit 1075.35 at the beginning of 2016.

I'm getting over a cold. Probably not a good idea to go in the cold with a cold. Wed. I'm in and the wind looks stronger.

Negative number times a negative number is a positive number. Same thing works in medicine - my wife assures me. Well, I didn't actually ask her but I think that's what she'd say. After all, why do premed students have to take math?

Worst part about that is now you are in the water, swimming around, with one really pissed off shark. Jim C assures me that the pooh in Lake Lanier are docile, not dangerous. Just keep your mouth shut when you fall.

Better than advertised. Solid 15-25. Chris P, Pat P, Ed and I showed up. Ed and I were wound on 6.5s on splashy boards. Pat was a bit bigger - not sure what Chris rigged. Met Paul who kites who came out to say hello.

Great to meet you guys! It definitely looked like it was blowing more than forecasted. Wish I brought my equipment... Paul
