5 Minute wind readings at G-ville/McCollum

Talking to a few guys today, I found not everyone is aware of these web pages, so I'm linking them again. They provide the readings for Gainesville and McCollum, the two closest reporting stations near Lanier and Allatoona . Disclaimer - they are no more accurate than any other readings from these stations (and on days such as today can be quite different from it looks like at the lake. Sometimes the 5 minute data is not available but it usually is.)

You have to click where it says 5 Minute Observations to get these readings.

They can also be found (like windy someone mentioned recently) on the front page under the weather tab

I'm glad you posted that because despite all the time I spend here, I never noticed the weather link on the front page. (I usually start with the page for Topics with new and updated posts so that is probably why.) So - all roads lead to 5 minute observos.

No worries. Thanks for mentioning those pages because they are super-userful. I was afraid my comment came off a bit harsh. I need to tinker with the navigation some. Not everything is as intuitive as it needs to be.
