Thank you.
You were right about the drysuit. Very warm...and comfortable ( well... comfortable compared to my other wetsuits )
I wish I had bought one two years ago.
The polar heat is an awesome suit, mine has lasted 18+ years so far and still has no signs of failing.
I always conditioned my seals with the silicone that came with it and waxed the Zipper for easier zipping
Also avoid getting and leaving sunscreen on the seals, some of the oily sunscreens will melt the seals.
Yep. I have had it with winter sailing. I used the old model of 100 degrees of combined water and air temps. Now I would say I am somewhere in the 150 degree range of adding water and air temp.
If you look at the disclaimer in very fine print in the club website
"Windsport Atlanta can not verify if there is actually wind in the Atlanta area. Our views of a windy forecast (aka desperate hope ) are not necessarily the views of any sober meteorologist.
We do have evidence to believe that there will be an occasional breeze sufficient for londboarding or windfoiling."
"To find actual wind one must drive fast for a minimum of four hours to somewhere where the water is salty.
It is there where Windsport Atlanta members can be found with statments like "Wow, this is nothing like Lanier!" "
Thank you.

If it uses Latex or silicone seals and you ever need them replaced contact .
Alan
All seal, neck and cuff, just replaced. Cost $200. Only wore the suit about 5 times after getting seals done.
Langdon, keep all seals out of sunlight when not in use.

When your replacement seal looks a bit suspicious...

Are you giving up winter sailing David?

Believe me, it is far more comfortable this way.

We skipped Shorty Season this fall. Glad to have the dry suit.
Maybe the wind will remember to visit Lanier and the festivities could resume.
Wind? ......What is this wind thing that you speak of?
