Re: Friday Sunday (11/2-4) welcome to Nov sailing thread
Why wait till then. Looks like it is blowing now. Probably just enough time to load the car, drive to the lake rig your gear and get drenched or worse.

Today over-delivered. We were all expecting 10 maybe 15 with some gusts. Ended up with 15-25. Seemed that every time i put the foil in the water, the wind would notch up. Very well powered 6.8 to 7.5 all around. With no boat traffic, Van Pugh is a hoot. Barrett, CP, Mauricio and Gene and I were in attendance.

Jim made the afternoon shift and officially joined the F-Team. Yay, Jim!
FoilSensei foiled up to Vann's/LLSC from VP and I followed him up a few minutes later. Saw a one or maybe two kitefoilers out of Vann's. The foil and the east wind made it much easier to span the gap above Aqualand.
Great day. Thanks to Langdon for the pie and Barrett for the photo.

Had to look up Sensei... notsomuch, almostfoilingjibeguy. Fun day though for sure.
What about those crazy clouds? Direction was wrong for wave clouds, so I think they must have been nympho strato cumuloids.
I would prefer VP this Sunday
And so it begins...

This afternoon, Friday, has a promising forecast. I plan to sail Van Pugh late afternoon. Anyone in for Van Pugh?

Apparently some of my buds forgot about the time change. (Yes, I'm going to VP even though the chop is more fun at Vanns)
What is this "chop" you speak of?
Photo of Sunday's A-team windsurfers. It was blowing earlier - honest ! Thanks to Langdon for the warm pizza.

There is so much in there for me to read - thank you! Hopefully, I'll have a little better understanding of those puffy 8-20 days.
