Cape San blas

For folks with fond memories of windsurfing at Eagle Bay at the state park at cape san blas, know that there now appears to be a 300 meter inlet just north of eagle bay, so now maybe 95% of what was the state park is now an island. I wonder what will come of that. I guess that at least, it will be closed for a long time.

Sad news about Cape San Blas. We loved sailing there.

We had great wind yesterday in Nags Head, but then overnight a storm surge from T.S. Michael washed in creating a real mess. We're cleaning up & sailed today, but it's a reminder to enjoy coastal sailing sites while they're still here.

I was actually planning to go to the State Park this weekend.... It was a great place to camp.

I loved that spot. I remember having an epic 4.2 day down there many, many years ago (with you CP, David W and Elizabeth). Sad that is gone.

I wonder if you will have to make your reservations a year in advance, like in the past.
