Re: 40th Annual Fall Classic Notice of Race

Sadly, I'm canceling the regatta this year. The hurricane really put the hurt on our homeys in the panhandle. All are safe as far as I know but no power and massive cleanup make it impossible for most to come. Stay tuned for news on a make-up date...

Re: 40th Annual Fall Classic Notice of Race

Chris, this is really an unfortunate circumstance - especially knowing what our FL friends are going through. Thank you so much for the work you put in for every regatta. It means so much to me and all of us. For those who aren't regulars, it's hard to appreciate how nice it is to see the same windsurfing friends every year, not only from around Atlanta but all over the SE. I've done well in a couple of races, miserable in most and bobbed around in no wind for a few but that's never been the important thing. Just being there is.

Looking forward to the next time.

Lastly, all the best to the Panhandle crew. Just dealing with some minor stuff from Irma (we finally just finished up just a few weeks ago), makes me really feel for the people who have had their lives devastated.
