New Pryde Foil

Pryde have redone their alu Foil and it looks like... a slingshot? New head plates with board support, too.

F4 is cooking up new stuff, too. http://f4fins.com/product/suspendisse-vitaesem/ longer fuselages (more stable) and 90cm wings.

Re: New Pryde Foil

I have read that NP's original aluminum foil was aggravatingly noisy, May have been the motivation for a revision.

It had to do with the trailing edge. Sanding it at an angle solves the problem. I remember that Laser daggerboards had this problem back when I did that. They would sing when you planed.

New NP foil review and interesting insights. Also, apparently the Glide comes standard with a powerbox head. Unlike the previous NP alum heads which were welded on, the new ones are bolted on and both powerbox and deep tuttle available: https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=fr&u=https://www.windsurf.boutique/actus/windfoil-test-neilpryde-rsflight-et-glide.html&prev=search

Re: New Pryde Foil

NP Foils now compatible with power box. Except for JP (NP group of products) boards. Scratch one-s head
