4-5pm. Kind of a tough call. You either have to go early and hope for the best, or skip it and maybe miss it. If you wait till the dots actually materialize it will probably be too late to get there in late afternoon traffic.

I don't pretend to know enough of the mechanics of it but on windy.com, it doesn't look like there's any rotation around the high - or enough to counter the prevailing westerlies.
I am still planning* on going sailing this evening.
I believe what wind there is will be from the SW.
I am going to Old Fed unless others are going to VP or LLSC.
* what I plan and what actually happens are not always the same thing
Edit
Live report from OF. Steady NW Breeze
Going to VP
Nice evening at VP
Webguy was airborne and cruising about.
Its amazing how much faster he is than me, once he is airborne he is probably almost twice as fast as me.
Weekday evenings like this one are great for practicing turns ans sail handling
It was a dot afternoon. When I first got there around three, there wasn't much wind but about 20-30 min after I got on the water, it filled in nicely and even capped for about a half hour. Spent the rest of the afternoon getting a lot of end to end flights. I'm really glad Langdon showed up or absolutely no one would have believed me. I was coming in as he started to go out so I went for a few more runs to keep him company.
It's amazing how foiling changes what one considers "windy".
Thanks! 7.7 Gaastra 2 cam and big wing. When it picked up a bit, I would have easily flown with the 6.7. There were times where I had to bear off to stay flying but plenty of times I could either sheet in and zip as the water was really flat or push upwind a bit.
Really makes me wonder why I am even keeping the 9.5 but it breaks my heart to sell it. I keep saying I'll use it in Florida or Hatteras when the water is shallow.
+1
Launch?
Looking at the models, not sure. Either Van Pugh or Van Pugh, unless CV wants to go to da club.

Dots sighted
Type of forecast I'm more inclined to go to the river, but might go to Little Ridge instead.

Could do the club... can’t make any sense of the forecast though. Seems like it ought to go N or NE. (and light).

Nonetheless the dots have now been vaporized. Thank you "Doubting Foildodo".

Edit: Added G'ville 5 min reports
That's pretty impressive given those readings. What size sail were you using?
