Lisa and I are going to be in Tarpon Springs for 2 weeks in June, 6/10 thru 6/24. If this lines up with any road trip, I might be interested in the foiling adventure at North Beach Windsurfing. Maybe we could get some kind of group lesson (and discount.) Tarpon Springs is about an hour north of Tierra Verde.
btw, noticed (maybe on North Beach's site?) Slingshot now has M10/M6 adapter plugs so you don't have to drill out your board. Windance is having some sales this weekend, too, per email circular.
for the foil curious, Second wind maui has an LP all carbon foil for $1500. Well regarded and has built-in base plate which lessens the risk to "non-foil" boards. This is the foil (afaik) the Sailworks crew use. btw, Sailworks has the all carbon ASF-2 on sale as well. The French seem to dig it.
If budget is an issue, check out Manta and Zeeko. Zeeko is about as close to all carbon performance out there besides Starboard (but a tad cheaper).
What do you foilers think, I asked Slingshot the following -
Do they make a foil which can be used to windsurf foil and kiteboard foil?

Hi Gene, we do have a few options, check out our new wing selector for suggestions on the best set-up. You will need a different fuselage and possibly mounting top plate, but wings and masts are all compatible and interchangeable. I would probably suggest getting the Fwind package and adding the shorter fuselage for kite. https://blog.slingshotsports.com/2018/08/11/slingshot-2019-wing-selector/

Short answer: yes. Longer answer is that I imagine you'll eventually get couple of wings as windfoil/windsup/sup wings are generally a lot bigger too. Slingshot have the "Switch Fuse", a reversible fuselage but it may be better just to get two as windfoilers have found that a long fuselage adds to stability and I don't know how kiters view longer fuselages. Looking at their website, you'll be in about $250 for fuselage and tuttle adapter. Wings are about $400. The '19 wings, iirc, have more carbon and are noticeably lighter.
A lot of windfoil companies, especially the French, started off as kitefoils. The technology is pretty much the same except windfoilers need a much stiffer mast.

I'm pretty most windsurfers would take offense to that.

You may also want to look at the Manta: https://www.mantafoils.com/e-shop/Manta-mono-3-in-1-kitefoil-windfoil-supfoil-p99517532
They have a specific product for what you want although, like the Slingshot, you'll need to get the correct adapters/fuselages.

You may want to give someone like Bigwinds a shout since they are big enough to know kiting and windsurfing well and have both Slingshot and Naish.
