Outage - saved by Simon

Sorry the site was down Thursday. I wasn't aware it was offline and was out of town today. Somehow, when trying to reboot, the server kept crashing.

Luckily, I was able to reach Simon tonight who was able to get the server to boot off an older kernel.

Thanks, Jr.! and sorry to everyone else for the inconvenience.

Between the WindsportAtl outage and the lakecam being stuck on the morning shot, I was completely lost. Sorry 2

Please extend my thank you to Simon. I think FoilDood put into words what we're all feeling. It's Doldrums Affective Disorder. Tomorrow morning Peggy & I are taking action by flying to Bonaire where the trade winds blow. I'll try to send some photos.

This time of year does have its value. First all, it is a good time to schedule things you don't want to schedule when the probability of wind is >.01. So go see your dentist, get that colonscopy you have been putting off, visit the inlaws, file your taxes (remember - your automatic time extension expires in August I think), check to see if your dog has any ticks, get an oil change, go to the DMV and get a drivers license, mow your lawn - at least once a year whether it needs it or not, get the car in your back yard off the cinder blocks and see if you can find a junkyard to haul it away, take all your old wetsuits to Goodwill, sell your Original Windsurfer with various missing parts to a beginner dying to learn how to windsurf, get your 9th grade Grammar and Spelling text book and really study it this time, and watch some videos on how do forward loops. Do all that and you won't believe how quickly the summer will pass.

Another possibility it to take up SUP Yoga. I don't think it requires wind. In fact, there is a local Yogi with a windsurfing connection.

Fudge - a truck took a power line out near "home base" and things didn't come back up until late this evening. We're back - as long as the power stays on.

Don't know if this makes D.A.D. better or worser... Let's see if we can spot the Barrett!

Yep, makes it worse... Cray 2 (but, thank you, that's very interesting)

Sigh, I made the mistake looking up Lac Bay's wind forecast this week.

Just checked. No yellow helmets. Maybe Barrett is here? https://goo.gl/maps/DBCeCajiYV72

I wonder if a Japanese tourist ever landed there because of a ticket booking mistake? Relevant
