Week one conditions were excellent every day, then on Sunday the wind quit blowing and we rode bikes. I was glad for a rest as new guests arrived and rigged sails. Sunday night rained hard as a cold front blew in. Monday was in the 60's dropping today to the mid 50's as a Nor'easter brought near-constant wind in the mid 20 mph range.

Wind Still Not Blowing in
Nags HeadAtlanta--- The Arrogant Jerk: Crabby and irritable since 1998.
No wind today in Nags Head either. After 3 days of constant north wind, it clocked around to the south and blew in the mid 20's yesterday afternoon. I was on a 6.0m & 111Liter board all afternoon. The guys who sailed into the evening were on 6.5 - 7.0 sails.

Despite a no-wind forecast today, it picked up from the NW mid-morning and we planed on 7.5-8.5m sails. It was only blowing 15-18 mph, but with steady wind, we were flying. Tomorrow strong SW wind is forecast, so we'll have sailed every day except Sunday.
