The article says you can click on the map and get data on individual wind projects. I tried but it didn't work. They never seem to have given the link to the data base they referenced. I thought they were a lot more in Wyoming. I used to drive to Cheyenne for business and turbines were as common as tumbleweeds.
The interesting part is that lots of wind turbines are located in placed where pretty much no one lives.

I normally use Mozzilla Firefox, but Unbuntu lists another browser which I have installed but never use. It is described as a lightweight browser tailored for Ubuntu. Says nothing about Firefox. I'm not sure I care enough to spend more time on this, but I am curious to see how much wind development there is near one of my relative's farm in SD.

It's designed for touch screen devices, and is not very intuitive when used with a keyboard or mouse. It's designed to be swiped with your finger.
This browser is a lightweight UI on top of the Oxide browser engine. The Oxide browser engine is just a web view control allowing a Chromium web view to be embedded in other apps.
Clark County, near Clark or Carpenter. There was a developer trying to get project started there, but ran into local opposition. Looks like they may have gotten somewhere with it.

Seems to be broken for firefox and chromium in linux but Chrome works. Firefox in Win7 works, too.
Must be a linux thing. Doesn't work for the Ubuntu browser or Opera.
