Can't make today. All that talk about tendons... I think I got tendonitis in my shoulder from sailing yesterday! Shok

Re: Thursday NW Wind

I learned today that at Galts at least a Formula board (ok - Junior Formula) will plane with a 4.4 sail - in or out of the footstraps. At least in the killer gusts, but nothing would work in the holes or zombie lulls. Fortunately, at Galts there was not a lot of "in between today."You know what it is........

Super day at Van Pugh as well - warm, stead & strong. 7 windsurfers on 5.5m to 6.5m sails. I was just right on a 6.0m all day.

Hey Barrett

I really enjoyed your article in the Windsurfing Now Magazine. I didn't realize you were such a pioneer in the sport.

Have you recovered from the unpleasantness related to your ribs?

Pretty much (thank you for asking!) until, it being pollen season, I sneeze. Then, I am reminded. I was able to sail for an hour yesterday so the worst of the unpleasantness is over.

Re: Thursday NW Wind

Last several years the worst of my pollen season coincided with my trip to OBX, where I don't seem to have allergies. (Despite the Weather Channel claiming that the tree pollen count was in the extremely high range.) But after being out 3 days in a row this week, it was starting to bother me some. I used to sail (and drive) with a pollen mask on.
