Re: Flyday Friday

A little bit temperature of a temperature change there...

That's a really mean southerly cold front... i am not sure if my wetsuit is good to -40.

Wow, that's big wind on Wind Alert's site, but the NWS forecast is quite different. The next good wind from the NW is "scheduled" for Monday.

Re: Flyday Friday

Yeah, that was definitely a glitch.
I spoke to the people at Weatherflow via email and they say we may have a "Weather Model Resolution issue" in our area where there may be some confusion about what is lake and what is land.
They are also off approximately 5 degrees Fahrenheit ( to the cold side ) almost every day.

Back to windsurfing...
I will probably be going Friday and Saturday.
I will post where a little later

Re: Flyday Friday

It was ok yesterday.
I saw Foildood flying in the distance and saw Barrett on the SLW as I was heading out.
CP and I opted for longboards and I had some good runs but there was some lulls as well.
CP did a tour of the south end of the lake.
Nice day on the water...and no wetsuit Smile

Sailing again today

Thanks to Chris V. for inviting us to join him at the Sailing Club. It was a good launch with the southerly wind direction.

Not a hard mistake to make. What was land just a few weeks ago has quickly become lake.

What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
