It's cold front-palooza! Tomorrow should be chilly and windy. Looks like chances to sail through Friday and another bout starting Sunday. Of course, this is all courtesy of systems that are going to pound NE again but, hopefully, not as badly.
It's like Scituate, MA told Rodanthe, "hold my beer."

Drone photo from Baldwin Video Productions of Rt. 12 in Outer Banks to Mirlo Beach and Avon. This is a reason we stay in Nags Head where road flooding & access have rarely been a problem.

Well that isn't good.

Yep Nags Head is usually high and dry. (And if not, its still fun.)

Anybody going anytime the next few days? Schedule-wise thursday and friday works better for me but it's really windy today (Wednesday,) kind of chilly.

Friday looks good as it will be in the 50s. Today and tomorrow depend on my desire to dig out gloves, hat, etc. Two weeks ago, Langdon was wearing a shortie.
I will try to go Friday. Will update later
William & I are heading to Van Pugh after lunch. Somebody has to man up. We can't let this wind go to waste.

CP met us up there. Barrett was insanely overpowered on 7. I was fully powered on a 6 and cp on a 5.7. Great day but a bit nippy - 42 on my thermo, 41 on Barrett's when we left. Pretty steady wind and chop was reasonable and fun to play on.
Same gang looking forward to tomorrow.
I'm probably going to head over to lake Doraville tomorrow. Looks like a fun new spot to sail. Plenty of parking.

What? Why didn't you post something about this? I drove straight past it to that pond up by Oakwood, GA. Randy, I thought you were looking out for me...
Most likely heading to VP around 2
Just imagine what a great picture that would be if he had a SUP or WS board on top of his car. (Kind of the like the body found near the Mt. St. Helens eruption with the "I survived Mt. St. Helens" t-shirt on*.)
