The city allowed some SUP kayak tour operation to set up containers in the grass right by Calema so it's not as used as much as in the past. Don't know if they put anything back in the grass where the kiters would rig. Previous time about two years ago, I saw a few kiters there, I didn't see hardly anyone, kite or windsurf, last summer.
The SUP kayak thing (business, not activity) was supposed to expand. You can launch from the next causeway across from the hospital. Lots of kiters. Side shore on an east and I don't know how bad the wind shadow from Cocoa Beach is there.
Hey CV, you know if anybody ever kites from Kelly park. I know about 520 slick, but curious if I can hang with the windsurfers.
Also, I like the minimum NP pfd, here's some on sale: http://www.mackiteboarding.com/impact-flotation-vest/

Yeah, that's 520 slick across from hospital. I'll claim ignorance and if anybody complains, I'll blame it on Langdon....
