Water looks a bit "rough". My board always has a hard time planing when it looks like that.
But the water did have lines on it today to tell you where you are (or if you want to park your board), so you had that going for you.
You just need to put some wheels on your board to ride the asphalt ocean. Well, sea. ok swimming pool. BTW - the real water looked pretty smooth.
