A rare day when I look at the wind forecast and hope it's too high.

Ed's emoji says it all. After sailing Saturday and all day Sunday, It's nice to sit by the fire and watch the rain fall.

Photo is of Trey who managed to hold down a 7.6m sail before calling it a day when the wind picked back up mid-afternoon. I alternated between a 6.0m & 7.0m, staying out from 11AM until 5PM. I'm glad I gassed up near Gainesville, as several stations in Atlanta were out of gas as I drove home.

Almost live update - Van Pugh 12:45

We have Caps! and there's plenty of parking.

We have LOTS of CAPS, BIG CAPS, CAPS EVERYWHERE! There's Caps back around by the boat ramp, it's wild looking.

I think I'll pass on sailing, it's way too COLD, yeah, that's it, it's just too cold.

We got bit by Irma. Charleston got a lot wetter than we'd expected but it didn't help that Princess evacuated here and had to worry about trees falling on a dark house.

Then I see the pics of people in Florida with their whole lives devastated. I have no idea how they keep going. Whoever says this hurricance was over-hyped, the Keys would like to have a word with you.
