hmm... PDK NWS now forecasting gusts to 20 on Saturday. Gilmer doesn't fare as well. Watching for Saturday.
NWS now showing dots Saturday afternoon. Probably because we've decided to make a last minute trip to see the in-laws. That always helps the forecast.
Sailed on Lake Chatuge this evening (NC side) about 100 yards parallel to the dam. Not really windy but a good constant 7-10 breeze made for a nice evening cruise. Beautiful area, nice rigging area, easy launch and mountains all around
Didn't miss much. Puffy SE wind made for a few foiling forays.
9.5 seems too big. I think I'd have done better with a 7.5
