Last schedule they posted was for 2015 which had the dates of March 22-Sept 1 for operation. Might just be worth a ring. Facebook page is dead.

Or pm Micah since he lives pretty close by.

Re: Is Galt's Lower Parking Open?

What they've maintained to me the last few years is that I can park there to unload equipment, but then have to immediately move my trailer to the upper (boat ramp) lot. Very inconvenient. Plus much more likely that someone will pinch or pocket a part while I'm moving the trailer and coming back. Their "reasoning" is that it wouldn't be fair to boat owners to not be able to park their trailers there as well and they don't have room for all the cars and trailers both. Fool

Last time I was there with trailer (in the fall,) due to wind and cold there was no one else in the lower lot when I arrived, so I risked not moving the trailer and nothing was said about it. I think that was because there was a different couple manning the park from before. YMMV.

May your water be smooth and your winds be swift.

They haven't allowed trailers in the lower park for decades. I started going to Galts in 97 - and no trailers were allowed than, as I recall. So this is nothing new. On the flip side, I got a warning ticket once for parking near the Little Ridge boat ramp in a trailer spot (w/o a trailer) in February when I had the only vehicle or any kind in the lot. Rules are rules - no matter how silly they are.
