Thursday Dec 22nd

Going to try and sail at Old Fed after lunch.
Or at least...try falling off the board in a more dignified manner

To score higher, you need to start from higher Shok

I'm in. Some disparity in the forecasts puts LLSC in the possible mix for me.
If it's 270º or less, that's where I'll be. Otherwise, it's VP fo' me!

In case you din know LLSC has a good read on westerly winds, (useless for east): http://www.llsc.com/wx/wx.asp
And a live view: http://www.llsc.com/clubcam/

Between Langdon and the foilman putting on a show somewhere, I gotta be in. Hope I can windsurf and munch on popcorn at the same time.

That link, iirc, refreshes the image, which is good. However, the direct link to the image is here: http://www.llsc.com/database/cam/webcam.jpg and you can see a bit better but you have to refresh yourself. I believe the image is updated every minute or so.

Re: Thursday Dec 22nd

William, Chris (Foilboy) & I sailed from Van Pugh. Gusty at first, the wind picked up & filled in. As the sun got low in the sky, flocks of seagulls circled around us, making for a beautiful end to the session. Chris got some nice runs in on his foil. William was flying along on his big rig & I had a great time on my 122 liter RRD Firemove board & 8.5m sail.

Photo attached of William & Chris sailing across the Lake with seagulls circling in the distance.
