Was pretty epic at Tidwell - I ended up sailing 6.0/145 (after rigging 7.3) and was pretty much maxed out. Al sailed 7.5/110 and said he was overpowered, but he did quite well. Fun day, but not easy. Most wind I've sailed in quite a while.

Tidwell - got to sail upwind to get to open water.
Van Pugh - Aqualand wind shadow drives me nuts every time.
Vanns - Can anyone actually get there?
Decisions, decisions. At least this isn't Charlotte. RBD told me what the options are is there and it ain't pretty. That's another story.
Webster - if AJ was on his game, I'm sure he would say you are over thinking this. It simple - you are a windsurfer. There is wind. Go to the closest place you sail as fast as you can and sail. It's what you do.

Epic morning at Van Pugh! I was on the water by 10:30 with my 7.0m sail & 110 liter board. I let out the sail and switched to 122 liter board at 11AM & stayed on a plane until about Noon when the wind dropped. Gene & Jim arrived as the wind died. Photo is attached for proof there was good wind.
Plan to go to Tidwell in the AM.
