Up and Foiling - How Not to be Foiled

Chris is determined to master his new foil. Tuesday was his best day ever as his board elevated out of the water on numerous short runs. Despite numerous crashes and cuts and bruises from sharp surfaces, he's making impressive progress every time he goes out.

Thanks Barrett, for the great shots! It's fun to see from another perspective. This thing is addictive. It's all I want to do... or try to do. On the first couple of airborne rides, I said to myself, "Self, this is really different– so quiet". With some (slightly) longer rides I have a moment to listen better and I realize I can hear the wind over the sail. Never heard that before. Kinda cool, that.

Love the shot of the geese. I thunk, "time to try a jibe on this thing– and I might as well do it close to shore... in case it goes well, people will see it." It didn't. Shok

Mama goose to baby geese: "Be sure to poop over there by that little sidewalk that goes down into the water. Eventually those windsurfers will get tired of falling on their tails and leave this place."

What happens in a black hole stays in a black hole.
