Re: Nice Summer Day - December 18, 2015 Wind 5 to 10 Temp 83...
Chris foiled. Dave D. kited at Old Fed and dropped by to see the foiling action. Jim C. rigged numerous sails and may have gotten out before I was there. Gene, Crispy and I sailed 5.2s pretty wound at times. Peelskid came by to lend commentary.
Earlier in the afternoon, the wind was more W and there were better swells. Wind turned a bit to the NW which meant one had to come back through the washing machine back from Aqualand. (NW wind, W swell). Water is still very comfortable which was a good thing as my small board jibes suck and my skinny mast waterstarting skills suck even more. Low 20s to mid 30s sounds about right. Spent a lot of time sheeted out, no shortage of power most of the time. Could have done with a smaller board but having a bit of float was nice, too.

Did anyone sail today. Seems like the perfect day for it.

Well not as good as foiling, but I did stay dry.

I think it captures the essence of peelskid. A deep and thought provoking character study.
