Celebrate the Season!
Make plans for the Club's Spectacular Seasonal Soireé* on December 6th at 6pm.
Randy & Becci have once again graciously consented to arrange for the use of their neighborhood clubhouse at Grogan's Bluff in Sandy Springs. (Thanks guys!)
The Club will provide a ham and soft drinks. BYOB and a side dish to share (Please RSVP here with what you plan bring, to avoid duplication).
If you like, bring a gift for the zany White Elephant Gift Exchange– unused gear, something fun or crazy... anything goes!
This is also the occasion for the passing of the Mighty Wind Altar to the next Stoker. (Who can doubt its worth after it so convincingly delivered wind at the Fall Classic?!)
Grogans Bluff Clubhouse: 8110 Grogans Ferry Rd, 30350. From GA 400/US19, Exit 6 Northridge Rd and go west to Roswell Rd/Hwy 9. Turn left/south and travel .75 miles to Grogans Ferry Rd on the right. Continue .2 mile to just beyond the end of the median to the clubhouse on the left.
*Must be present to enjoy
I've been waiting for months for the White Elephant Gift Exchange. Months.
It'll be good to have that closet clear at last.

Do I just need to bring 3 brownies? RSVP? Help?
I plan to come a little bit early to help set up, and will pick up a case of bottled water. I will bring the wind alter, and a White Elephant gift (probably from the un-picked consignment gear which will be headed to the dump soon.)

I'll put a slide show together if there's a TV with HDMI connection to show the pictures on.

I'll be there for sure. I've certainly got some crazy gift(s) as well.

Will be there. Add a brownie please Gene.
Planning to bring an appetizer, chips and cheese dip.

Are these Oregon or Rocky Mtn brownies?
Asking for a friend.

The directions provided are great - I will just add this - watch out for the QT Station. If you are coming from the North on Roswell Road, the QT is just after your turn. If you are coming from the South, the QT is just before your turn.
Also its hard to miss the entrance to the Subdivision its at 8000 Roswell Rd. Stay to your right as you enter.
Finally, we do plan to have a windsurfing board or sail on display at the entrance to the clubhouse so it should be easy to find.
Anyone still having trouble with directions call my cell at 678-643-7427.

Josh and I are going to our best to make it. We will bring some sort of food.
Bringing salad and app. Coming solo as "She who makes everything possible" is a bit under the weather today.
Looking forward to seeing old and fresh faces.
