Offline a bit this afternon

Looks like were offline from about 4-7:30 this evening. We don't seem to be super resilient when Baidu, the Chinese search engine insistently tries to visit, even though they are blocked.

Apologies. Hope everyone had fun.

Well, I wrote a thousand word essay on how great it was at Galts, but as soon as I was going to enter it, the webpage was gone. So now you guys will never know that Bill and I quit about 15 minutes before the wind went off at Galts. But no matter, I'm continuing in my quest to develop the perfect kite and science was advanced yet again, both before and after I sailed.

Note to web guy. Please never install autocorrect on windsurfatlanta.org.

Moved the web site to an updated version of the hosting software (CentOS 7 for the curious) late last night. We should be faster and more stable - especially the latter. Something had gone wonky in our set up in the last month that was bugging the sh*t out of me.

Hopefully that should prevent Randy from losing his homework. He'll have to revert to claiming his dog ate his comment.

That darn dog - eats everything - homework, webguy's birthday card, NOAA model forecasts, check with my ABC dues, writeups about sessions that didn't go well.....

That picture would make a good avatar, but I don't know how I could put a yellow helmet on it.

Sadly my dog is no longer with us, but that doesn't mean she can't still be used as an excuse. I'd get a new dog, but I don't want to have to change all my passwords.

Randy, change your passwords! Quickly!
