From Randy at Tidwell, 10:50, plenty of caps, kind of cold and rainy, probably 5.0 to 6.0 conditions, he thinks he will rig his 5.2, he thinks it time to MAN-UP!
A few of us Men, Voltar, Barret and me took Randy, the Man, Faulkenberg's advice and Manned Up at Van Pugh and had a good day. Voltar sailed his 7.0, Barret 5.9 and I was on my 6.0. We had plenty of wind, a good bit of rain, but it really wasnt that cold, almost 50, well high 40's, well mid to high 40's. The water is still warm, and it wasnt cold sailing at all. I did get chilled de-rigging in the rain, still in my wetsuit. Usually I get dry before de-rigging but, it was raining.
Randy (5.2) and Al (6.0) had a good day over at Tidwell, and Trey did sail briefly at Van Pugh but ..... I dont think he exactly Manned Up, I think he had to leave early, yeah, that must have been it. Actually, I think he has a life.
Anyway, You Guys missed it. Winter is here!!!

Now it's my turn for a good report FINALLY. We are at Banana River, saw Beth and Greg, and I got in a 4 hour session non stop. Light winds but some good planing runs and practiced jibes. Warm, occasional sun, water warm. Dorian even got on a board and can get out and tack. He's having problems on the other side, though. He was using a large bic something and after we switched, even I had trouble bringing it back upwind as the board was drifting sideways. Dolphins galore, hardly anyone is here so we have the place to ourselves. Where is everyone???? We will try to get in some SUP lessons and get out on the ocean side:) Will also take the training kite over to the beach and practice that a little. This place rocks for gear-laden windsurfers. Launch is just outside the grassy backyard. Later!
Trey,

You may be correct. I checked Delta and they still have space via frequent flyer miles. Did you get a place to stay yet? Call me
Anybody thinking of going today, Sunday?
Van Pugh, not Costa Rica.
