Alright, I confess. I just wanted to make things a little more exciting during the summer doldrums.

I had so much fun with the stingray encounter at Cape San Blas with Gene that I just wanted to see that expression on his face one more time.

Really, he is not big enough to take a leg or anything like that but he could devour a fin.

Anyway, we have a new distraction this fall. Paying PEEK A BOO with the gator.

I am almost positive I saw him at the island across from VP. His eyes were just sticking up above the water or then again it could have been an ordinary water hazzard.

Let's try to catch him and get him stuffed. A stuffed gator would make a nice addition to the Wind Idol. Or better yet, make him a trophy for the fall race. Dave Stanger probably could use one that looks a little different.

My youngun and me was talkin' it over and we think them boys with boats ain't never gonna catch that gater. Onliest way to do it is sneak up on him with a windsurfer, jump in and rassel em!

Wed. may be a good day for a gator hunt. The forecast shows some promise with mid-day wind from the NW.

Maybe I'll just take my trusty ol Hound Dog, Chupacabra, to the lake this weekend and we'll see how tough that gator is.
