I put a 12' WS'er on a plane after wrapping it in multiple layers of bubble wrap and cardboard (and A LOT of packing tape). It worked great.

I guess you are not going to get too much relevant advice / sympathy from the local windsurfers. I guess most of us have no idea what a NSI deceiver travel bag is!

yea i guess thats going to be my last option. i was hoping i could find something that would at least cover it up and maybe get through check-in without being charged a ton. right now im taking american airlines and then continental down there (small island) and then those two on the way back as well. so thats around $350 in kiteboard fee's. thats a LOT of beer money. : (

haha i figured that to be the case nitrojiber, i was hoping some of the few kiters on here may happen to have a bag or advice.

the NSI deciever bag is a fake golf bag with enough room to fit kiteboarding gear in. it helps us kiteboarders pass off our equipment on airlines as golf bags. it even says "NSI PRO GOLF" on the side of it. a lot of kiters use them so i was hopeing someone on here may have one. unfortunately for you windsurfers i dont think your gear could fit in a golf bag made for Shaq!

I have one you can borrow. Not perfect, but it works. Probably too late... Call me at 404-909-9869. I'm in Roswell.
