Oh to be single again…

Hey,

So what do you do if you and your buddy get back to Atlanta at 2:00 AM Tuesday morning, after a really good time sailing in Cocoa Beach over Presidents Day weekend?  Well if you’re a real windsurfing bum, Like Scott G. and Andrew B., it’s obvious; you just grab a few hours sleep and then hop on the 10:00 AM flight to Aruba.

Yes, even as I type this our two intrepid adventures are winging their way to that warm windy isle.  The rest of us, however, can sit at our little computers and dream…

Cheers,

Bill

Yep Bill, I have another story for you.  My older brother recieved a free Delta ticket last month, and on a whim decided to head to Aruba for a month.  He has been there for over two weeks and has had 10 days of 5.2 or better.  How long would it take to get 10 days of that kind of wind here in Atlanta -- two, maybe three years?  Not to mention, how many of those days here would even be above 60 degrees?

Oh well. I will send my brother an e-mail so maybe he could introduce himself to Scott and Andrew.  Are they renting from Vela?

Re: Oh to be single again…

Chris,

Scott and Andrew are staying at the Boardwalk (phone 297-5866654).  I understand it's within walking distance of the windsurfing area (I think it's called fishermans huts).  I also suspect they're renting from Vela.  That's what the did last time.

Scott's been there once before (last year) and Andrew has been there one or two dozen times.  One of the perks working for an airline.  Now you know why he hates rigging his own equipment.  It's already rigged and ready to go.

They're coming back on Saturday.  Then it's off again next week to the Calema Midwinters.

Like the Nike ads say "Just Do It"!

BTW-Tell your brother to look for the "big guy going over handlebars all the time". That'll be Scott.   Acute

Bill
