I know you will all be at the lake Saturday for the Clinic/Swap meet, right?
Early indications- Sunrise Cove with a decent (8-10?) breeze from the west. Bring your big stuff, your old stuff, your piggy bank. Sail, deal, but don't steal. Refreshments provided by the club (and maybe bring some extras just in case).
Contrary to rumor, the Hawks cheerleaders will _not_ be appearing this year. ;)

Yer proboble location correct, but wind direction is forecast at this point to be west-southwest.
Chris,
You are absolutely right. I have no idea how I saw 260-270 (compass points) and came up with east.
thanks,
wf
Ah, ::), the perfect antidote to the endless summer blues.....and I have been saving up my shekels. But, oh SWAMI, what time do we gather at the river?
Or has this time been posted and I have been remiss in seeing it?
???
11 am. Sorry 'bout that.

Chris Voith sent out an email to the elist ( http://www.windsurfatlanta.org/bulletin/elist.html)
reminding everyone that the construction on I-85 between 316 and 985 is horrendous. You can either get off at the first exit after 316, go west and go up US 13 (Buford Highway) or go up 400 and get off at 306, turn right on 316, and go about 12 miles til you hit McEver Rd (first light after the Bridge) turn right and go about 3 miles to Flat Creek and turn right. rest of directions:

Sorry for the inconvenience but J-Lo had a change of plans and won't be able to host the "Duck Jibe" clinic as advertised.
Concerning the traffic, in today's (Fri) Atlanta Journal, they stated "This weekend, work will take place in the southbound lanes". Do you feel lucky, they reported very long delays over the past several weekends.
No matter, come on out, it should be fun. I'm in charge of the non-alcoholic drinks, and I think I may have overbought, as in 96 cans of soft drinks (all kinds) and 60 bottles of water, so, come thirsty.
For the swap meet, Genes Consignment is bringing a bunch of sails, a few mast, and some odds & ends.
Also, I have a water baloon launcher and I know Chris V has one, and for fun I was thinking we could take target practice at the students. Also, I think you can drink beer (bring your own) if you dont get carried away.
EVERYBODY, COME ON OUT.
